The popular celebrity stylist announced the tragic death of her sibling on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
She shared a photo of her brother with a caption seeking God's strength amid such a turbulent time.
“Dear Lord Jesus, I am choosing to lay at your feet with this deep wound. May your peace fill my heart today and tomorrow. I am surrendering everything to You. Yaweh, you know best😭💔. RIP MY DEAREST TWIN, Emmanuel Bannerman Quaye,” she said.
It’s unclear what led to Emmanuel’s death, but his passing at such a young age has stirred sadness online.

Emmanuel Bannerman’s last words surface after death
The final words of Akosua Vee’s brother before his tragic death have gone viral on social media since his passing was confirmed.
On August 8 at 5:37 p.m., Emmanuel shared what would be his last status update before his untimely death two weeks later.
The post, made in the aftermath of the August 6 helicopter crash, touched on the arbitrary nature of death.
“Death is like rainfall; it doesn't fall on one roof alone. If you are happy about the death of one person today, get ready for tomorrow, for it may be your turn and more than expected. Wo nyame sum po ni!” his post read.
In what seemed to be a follow-up a few days later, he reposted an update by another social media user speaking about how it's important to treat people the right way.
"Karma doesn't miss a single soul. Be careful how you treat genuine people💯," he reposted on Facebook
