Otumfuo’s Son Flaunts Wealth As He Storms School of Law in A Maybach After Winning SRC Elections
The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II’s son, Nana Opoku Ware, flaunted his wealth, status, and power as he stormed the campus of the Ghana School of Law in a Maybach.

Nana Opoku Ware headed a convoy of luxurious vehicles containing executives of the Students Representative Council (SRC) of the Law School ahead of their swearing-in ceremony.
The son of the Asante monarch was elected President of the SRC in April when he overcame stiff competition from four other candidates.
Opoku Ware, a 2024 graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) Law school, polled 671 votes, ahead of Festus Tettey Matey, who secured 527 votes in the April 29 and 30, 2025 elections.
Other candidates included Michael Obiri-Adjei (379 votes), Benjamin Offei-Addo (278 votes), and Emmanuella Tetteh-Ashong (52 votes).
Otumfuo’s son rides Maybach to swearing-in
The newly elected SRC executives for the 2025/2026 academic year of the Ghana School of Law were sworn in on Friday, August 22, 2025.
