Ghanaian media personality Mrs. Matilda Adjoa Adu-Boateng, widely known as AJ Poundz, recently shared the heartbreaking news of her father's passing on social media.
The former host of the popular entertainment programme Onua Showtime announced the sad news on Instagram, asking her legion of celebrity friends and fans for their prayers during this difficult time.

TV host AJ Poundz loses her dad
AJ Poundz stated that her father passed away two weeks ago, a fact she chose to keep private. At the same time, she focused on her responsibilities as the temporary host of one of Ghana’s biggest entertainment shows, stepping in for Nana Ama McBrown, who was absent due to health issues.
In her emotional post, she shared a poignant image of a burning candle accompanied by the heartfelt caption:
"Rest well, my father 😭😭😭👏. My lovelies, I lost my father 😭 exactly two weeks ago today, and I must say it hasn't been easy; kindly remember me in your prayers, as I really need it."
