YEN.com.gh earlier reported that an Uber driver in Accra refused to accept card payment, insisting on cash, which sparked mixed reactions from Ghanaians.
According to the operator, drivers from the ehailing service prefer cash as they can use it immediately to buy petrol, whereas card payments may delay their earnings.
Reactions to the Uber driver's comments were varied, with some understanding the preference for cash for trips due to concerns over issues like payment reversals.
