The young Ghanaian, identified as Samuel Adjei, took to social media to share his recent purchase of a private island said to be worth millions of Ghanaian cedis.

Samuel Adjei is a young land developer and landlord who recently moved to Accra, Ghana, from the UK.

According to him, though he was born and raised in the diaspora, life as a child was not fair to him, as many had thought. In his post, he disclosed that his mother was a cleaner while in the UK, as such, he did not have the privileges some of his mates had.

He explained that the only way he knew how to succeed was with faith in God, great vision and to trust in God that he would be great.

He said:

"I was born the son of a cleaner. No privilege. No shortcuts. Just faith, vision, and the belief that God doesn’t make mistakes."

Samuel stated that he was laughed at every time he told people he had big dreams, but that did not keep him from his vision to be one of Africa's youngest entrepreneurs and landlords. Putting shame to his doubters, he now owns a private island in Ada, Ghana.

In his words:

They laughed when I dreamed big… but I kept building in silence. Today, I own a private island. Not because I had everything, but because I trusted God through the struggle.

On his final note, he encouraged his followers that one's background does not determine one's future.
