Kwadwo Sarfo, the leader of the non-profit group, appealed for urgent support from prominent businessman and philanthropist Ibrahim Mahama to provide essential equipment for them.

The Buz Stop Boys are known for their tireless efforts in addressing the nation's sanitation challenges. According to Kwadwo, the provision of certain equipment would enhance their effective service and contribution to the nation.

The video shows Kwadwo emerging from a narrow, debris-filled drainage system, clad in a protective suit with gloves. The leader of the group expressed frustration over the lack of response to a letter allegedly sent to Mr. Mahama's office nearly a month ago.

Buz Stop Boys lobby Ibrahim for resources

The Buz Stop Boys have become a symbol of civic responsibility in Ghana, stepping in where government initiatives have fallen short. Their work is politically non-partisan, focusing solely on realising a vision of a cleaner Ghana, one street at a time.

The appeal to Ibrahim Mahama, founder of Engineers and Planners and a well-known figure in Ghanaian business and philanthropy, emphasises to the locals that with better equipment, they can expand their reach and involve more youth in their initiatives.

"With the little equipment or support, we'll be able to expand our reach and bring a lot of youth on board," Kwadwo asserted.
