The details of the late Immigration Officer Stephen King Amoah's funeral service have emerged on social media amid the ongoing court proceedings to convict the alleged suspects involved in his murder.

The obituary poster of the late Immigration Officer shared on Instagram by blogger Gossips24TV indicated that his funeral service would be held on Sunday, August 21, 2025, at the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) church at Old Tafo (4 Miles) in the Ashanti Region of Ghana.
The funeral service for the late 38-year-old Stephen King Amoah would be held from 6 am to 6 pm, with family, friends and sympathisers expected to be in attendance.

Stephen King Amoah's murder and aftermath
Stephen King Amoah was reported missing for days after he left his residence on July 3, 2025, to retrieve some funds from his friend, Bright Aweh.
The Immigration had left home to meet Bright Aweh at Aggie’s Spot in Ashongman Estate to reclaim an amount of GH¢200,000 he had paid to him to secure employment for some individuals who gave him the money.
After numerous attempts to locate his whereabouts for several days, the Ghana Police Service discovered the immigration officer's charred remains in a gutter near GBC Satellite, opposite Comet Estate at Abuom Junction, near Kwabenya, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

The Ghana Police Service launched an investigation to catch the culprits behind his gruesome murder after his remains were later transported to the Police Hospital morgue.
On July 10, 2025, the Ghana Police Service announced that they had apprehended Bright Aweh, the friend he had left home to meet before going missing, as the main suspect in the heinous crime.
A statement released by the police indicated that the alleged suspect had shared inconsistent information during his interrogation.
Later in a press conference, COP Lydia Yaako Donkor, Director General of the Criminal Investigations Department, shared that they had discovered the alleged murder weapon used by Bright Aweh to commit the crime.
A second suspect, Thomas Zigah, aka Nii Jaase, was also arrested in connection with the alleged murder of Immigration Officer Stephen King Amoah.
The two individuals have appeared before a judge in court for their alleged involvement in the murder of the Immigration officer, who left behind a widow and two children.
Alleged third suspect reportedly dies
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that an alleged third suspect linked to the murder of Stephen King Amoah had reportedly died after a short battle with illness.
The brother of the late Immigration Officer Kwesi Amoako shared the news during an interview with the media.
The news of the alleged third suspect's demise triggered many reactions from Ghanaians on social media.
