In a viral TikTok video seen by YEN.com.gh, the Fix The Country protestor called for the officials whom he claimed had supported and allegedly connived with Rejoice Tsotso Bortei to tarnish his reputation, to face justice.
He said:
"A demonstration will be coming on. Those who insulted us, planned and pushed the girl to do what he came out to do, we need the law to work. The law must deal with the matrons who work there and those who connived with the girl."
St Williams also issued an ultimatum to the authorities, calling for them to bring the officials he claimed had conspired with Rejoice Tsotso Bortei to justice within the next 48 hours.
The social activist threatened to embark on a large-scale demonstration with many Ghanaians on the streets if the authorities failed to prosecute the nurse and the officials for their alleged acts.
"If they had found out that Ralph had physically assaulted the girl, would they have jailed him or not? If it is now false that Ralph beat her and that they conspired with her, haven't they committed a crime?" he stated.
"We are waiting for them for 48 hours. If the authorities do not take action for these people to face the law, then from Monday, the youth will be on the streets. Enough is enough with medical negligence. We need to save our lives."
St Williams added that Ghanaian taxpayers were responsible for paying the salaries of nurses and that the citizens deserved better treatment from them at the various hospitals in the country.
