Ernest Addo Mensah’s widow speaks
Speaking on the sidelines of the memorial service, Flight Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah's widow, Mercy Amoah, shared fond memories of her late husband:
“He was very thoughtful. That was his most important quality. All those who knew him can attest to the fact that he thought about other people more than himself. He was always thinking about what could make you comfortable and help you progress, because he believed that his partner’s progress was his own progress,” she said.
Flight Sergeant Ernest Addo Mensah was among the eight individuals aboard a Ghana Armed Forces Z-9 helicopter, which crashed while en route from Accra to Obuasi on August 6.
