“Let me gladly accept the honour conferred on me as the Acting National Chairman of NPP by his majesty, the representative of the king of Mamprugu. He is our grandfather, so I can’t reject any title that he confers on me.”
“But it is fitting and proper because the NPP National Chairman comes from my place. We are brothers. Unfortunately, after the friendly defeat, he has gone into hiding. So, if there is somebody who should take care of his party in his absence, I have accepted that responsibility,” Johnson Asiedu Nketia added.

“So, my brothers, the ‘kukrudites’, if you need any advice as to how to get out of your problems, you can come to your brother General Mosquito. I will be acting until my brother comes back to active politics or you find a befitting replacement.”
