The arrangement made in front of the NPP's headquarters indicates that there would be a massive rally after the filing of the nomination forms, where the former Vice President is expected to address delegates of the party.
Speaking to The1957News, a staunch supporter of Dr Bawumia's presidential bid, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu, popularly known as KOKA, said his candidate would be making a bold statement with his arrival at the party's head office.
"After filing the forms, Dr Bawumia will mount the stage to address his teeming supporters. This is a show of brand presence. He's making a bold statement that he's the next person to lead the NPP to win power in 2028," he said.
"He contested the last presidential election and garnered 41 per cent of the votes. This means that he only needs nine per cent of the vote in 2028 to become president," he said.

Another supporter of the NPP said Dr Bawumia is the only candidate with the requisite competence and experience to take Ghana to the next level.
The unidentified young man also claimed that the NPP is the only political party that has the interest of Ghana at heart, urging Ghanaians to give them another opportunity in 2028.
"NPP is the only party that can develop Ghana, and so, I'm pleading with Ghanaians never to repeat the 2024 mistake. NPP is a good party. When J.A Kufuor came to power, he brought the national health insurance, and Akufo-Addo also introduced the Free SHS policy. What has the NDC done for Ghana? So, I want to urge every Ghanaian to support the leader that we will select on January 31, 2026, in the person of Dr Bawumia, in the 2028 elections," he said.
