Mohammed Kudus has perfectly responded to Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer following his explosive start at Tottenham Hotspur after three matches.
In what was hailed as a statement of intent, Tottenham Hotspur secured the services of the Black Stars forward from West Ham for a reported £55 million, offering him a six-year contract to mark their long-term faith in his potential.

According to Transfermarkt, Kudus tallied 19 goals and 13 assists in 80 games for West Ham over two seasons. During the 2023/24 campaign, the Ghanaian forward delivered an impressive return of 18 goals and 10 assists in 48 outings, with 14 goals and 8 assists in 45 matches for the Hammers.
However, last season, the Nima-born footballer scored just 5 goals and offered 4 assists in 35 matches for the Hammer, raising serious concerns in terms of his consistency and reliability.
The former Barcelona forward, who departed the BBC in May, and the Premier League’s all-time top scorer were among those who questioned Tottenham’s move for Kudus, citing concerns over his consistency.
As quoted by TBR Football, Lineker mentioned that Kudus has a lot of talent but can be inconsistent, although there's potential for him to improve. Shearer added that the Ghanaian might thrive under Thomas Frank at Spurs and could be a good signing, but agreed that he needs to perform more consistently.
