Why was a giant mural installed in honour of Kudus?
Although the mural feels like a tribute from adoring fans, it is in fact part of Skechers’ advertising campaign.
Kudus signed on as an ambassador for the American footwear and apparel giant in 2024, joining an elite lineup that includes England captain Harry Kane and former Real Madrid midfielder Isco Alarcón.
“Mohammed Kudus is a sensational player loved by fans around the world, and at age 23 is already known for his talent on the pitch, so he’s the ideal athlete for Skechers,” said Greg Smith, VP of Product Development and Merchandising for Skechers Performance.
